 At PrimeStar Automotive, we believe in clear, fair, and transparent pricing.
Every quote we prepare follows Queensland Government best practice guidelines and is designed to protect both our customers and our business. 

A written quote is a formal offer that clearly states:

• What work will be carried out 
• Which parts and labour are included 
• The total price (including GST) 
• Any exclusions or special conditions 

Once you accept a quote, it becomes a legally binding agreement under Australian Consumer Law.
We prepare every quote with care to ensure accuracy, fairness, and no hidden surprises.

For certain jobs, a deposit is required before work begins or parts are ordered. This applies when:

• Special-order or non-stock parts are needed.
• The job involves high labour time.
• Parts or labour costs exceed $500

Standard deposit: 30% of total quoted price.
High-value/custom parts: 50% deposit

Deposits are non-refundable once parts are ordered or work has commenced, in line with Queensland consumer law. If we are unable to complete the job for reasons within our control, your deposit will be refunded in full.

We offer free written quotes for most standard repairs and services.
However, where a quote requires significant diagnostic work or physical inspection, a pre-inspection fee may apply.
This fee is always disclosed in advance and will be credited towards the total cost if you proceed with the job.
