Founder & Master Technician, PrimeStar Automotive

With over 30 years of industry experience, Eddie Ramirez brings a lifetime of dedication, precision, and passion to every vehicle serviced at PrimeStar Automotive. Eddie’s journey began in the Philippines and took him across the Middle East before settling in Australia — working with leading global brands and mastering the complexities of automotive systems from bumper to bumper.

Eddie has worked with prestigious automotive groups, including:
- Al Tayer Motors – Ford UAE
- Al Jazirah Vehicles – Ford KSA
 

From 1999 to 2007, Eddie served as a Master Technician and Overhauling Specialist, performing advanced diagnostics, engine and transmission overhauls, computer programming, and high-level repairs on Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, and other American and European brands. His expertise includes:
- Engine and transmission rebuilding (manual/automatic)
- Electrical diagnostics and programming
- ABS, climate control, and anti-theft systems
- High-performance 4x4 and diesel systems

Since moving to Australia, Eddie has continued to work with some of the country’s most respected service providers, including:
- Volvo (Austral)
- Toyota Material Handling Australia
- Renault
- BMW

Subaru
- South Pacific Cummins
- Hastings Deering(Caterpillar)
 

He is a dual-certified Auto Electrician and Mechanic, holding:
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
- Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
 

Eddie is also licensed for:
- LPG & Air Conditioning systems
- High-risk work and EWP operations
- Forklift High Risk License
